The Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Greater Noida, which will be similar to the one in Delhi, will connect several destinations across north India.

The proposed terminal will help hundreds of of daily wagers commute from different places, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttarakhand, The Times of India reported.

The ISBT will be part of the transport hub which will also comprise a railway terminus, and a mass rapid transit system station, the report said, adding that 412.7 acres have been earmarked for the hub which will come up in Bodaki village.

It is being developed by Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL).

The stations and the bus terminal will be built in a manner that will ensure swift transition between the mode of transport.

“Our aim is to connect Greater Noida through all modes of transport. The Aqua Line, which is currently being developed upto Sector Delta-1, will be extended to Bodaki to connect to the transport hub.”

The proposed integrated industrial township, along with transport and logistics, will make Greater Noida a central industrial hub in the National Capital Region, the report cited officials as saying.

“Talks are on to float a tender for development of the transport hub,” Bhooshan told the daily, adding, “the projects are aimed at developing a sustainable and futuristic industrial township which will also boost investment.”

“The modalities of ISBT are still being worked out. But adequate parking space, passenger waiting area, space for ticketing, drinking water and restrooms, retail shops, canteen, etc are some of the proposed facilities at ISBT,” the report quoted an official as saying.
